There are many ways to support the Des Moines Art Center!
Annual Fund gifts provide essential operating support and help make possible everything we do, from educational programming and caring for our permanent collections to free tours and community outreach.
GEneral Operating Support
Supporting general operating expenses ensures that we are able to provide a world-class experience for everyone! From maintenance to security to keeping the lights on, you can ensure that the Des Moines Art Center remains a gem in the community.
The Des Moines Art Center partners with more than 15 social service organizations in the community, bringing art and art education to at-risk youth and adults. We are proud of the impact these programs have in the community. Your support means that we can serve even more individuals and organizations.
The Des Moines Art Center offers more than 400 classes to over 4,000 students each year. Did you know that nearly 10% of these students attend on scholarships? You can help children and adults experience the joy and often life-changing experiences that studio classes provide. Please consider contributing to the scholarship fund today.
SCHOOL TOUR SUPPORT
Each year more than 18,000 students participate in free, docent-led tours of the Des Moines Art Center. These tours are provided at no charge to the schools. Please consider a donation to continue and grow this important program.
HONORARY OR MEMORIAL SUPPORT
Honoring a friend or family member in life or in death is a meaningful gift. Thank you for considering the Des Moines Art Center in this way.
