SUSPENDED: Yoga + Gallery Dialogue

In continued precaution surrounding COVID-19, the Art Center is suspending all public programming from March 21 – April 5. This will include all lectures, tours, studio activities, films, etc. The galleries will remain open during regular hours: 11 am – 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; 11 am – 9 pm Thursday; 10 am – 4 pm Saturday; and Noon – 4 pm Sunday. Stay tuned to desmoinesartcenter.org and our social media channels for additional updates.

FREE Art Center members / $5 non-members

Limit: 50 guests

8:45 am / Yoga (60 minutes)
10 am / Gallery dialogue with Art Center staff or docent (20 minutes)
Participants should bring their own yoga mats

Join Ben Spellman for a yoga practice that emphasizes dismissing judgment, breaking down barriers, and producing positive energy. Extend these virtues and stay for a brief foray in the museum where we'll practice the art of looking and learning to share our observations, thoughts, and questions.
