FREE; Reservations required*
THE SCREENINGS ON 9/28 AND 10/2 ARE REPEATS OF 9/26.
Established in New York City in 1997, The MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival receives more
than 500 entries from over 40 countries each year. Ten entries are selected as finalists
in the annual Festival and are then packaged and distributed on DVD to participating theaters.
Audiences from around the world unite not only to view the films, but to vote on them as well.
MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival will announce the winner on Monday, October 6 at 10 pm EST
and the Art Center will also post the results online.
Due to overwhelming demand, the Art Center is featuring expanded screenings
on Friday, September 26 at 6:30 pm; Sunday, September 28 at 1:30 pm; and
Thursday, October 2 at 6:30 pm. Although the September 28 and October 2 screenings
are repeats of the September 26 program, audiences will have the opportunity to
vote at the conclusion of each screening.
Films are not rated but are intended for an adult audience, and are approximately
two hours in length.
