The Des Moines Art Center Scholarship fund provides children and adults with financial need the opportunity to participate in studio classes. Each year more than 200 students from preschool age to adult benefit from the generosity of many contributors.
Scholarship decisions will be announced as follows:
- Spring scholarships: January 15
- Summer scholarships: June 1
- Fall scholarships: September 1
Additional scholarship applications will be reviewed periodically during the semester.
The Des Moines Art Center is pleased to offer free household memberships to qualifying families through the Art Access Membership Program. Art Access memberships include the member benefit of a 20% discount on all studio classes.
You are encouraged to enrich the lives of others with a scholarship to attend Art Center classes. Contact Development Director Emily Bahnsen for information about donating money to the scholarship fund.
