Welcome to the Des Moines Art Center's new website

Posted on Monday, October 5, 2015

We're so excited to finally be able to share this project with all of you. After months of design and development, the way you interact with the Des Moines Art Center online is now easier and more visual than ever.

So what's new?

Mobile Responsive

One of the most exciting parts of THE new website is that it's responsive. Now no matter which platform or device you're using, you'll be able to fully enjoy the Art Center's website, read up on exhibitions, or register for upcoming events and classes.

Interactive Calendar

Weekly Calendar

Looking for a lecture or a special event? The new calendar allows you to select a daily, weekly, or monthly view to make finding entries even easier.

Upcoming events and programs may also be filtered by type so you can find the items that are most important to you. Only want to see Art Noir activities? Are you just interested in films? We've got you covered.

Individual Event

To make reservations or buy tickets for an event, simply click the gray "Make Reservations" button on the listing page. This is also where you can add the event to your personal calendar or share it socially with all of your friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter.

Registering for Classes

Now registering for studio classes and workshops at the Art Center is easier than ever! Simply click on the Education tab and select Register for Classes. From there you'll be prompted to select an age group which will allow you to peruse all of the classes currently being offered. You'll also be able to sort by class type, instructor, and date offered.

Exhibition Galleries

On our new site, exhibition galleries and images are bigger and better than ever. Select a current, upcoming, or even past exhibition to peruse more high quality photos.
