Iowa fashion designers are invited to submit work for an evening fashion showcase, featuring a runway show, live music, food, and beverages. The event kicks off Catalyst State: Iowa Design Weekend 2009 on Friday, November 13 in downtown Des Moines.

Reserve your spot now for a 15-20 minute portfolio review with an industry professional. Designers working in any form of visual communication are welcome, including graphic design, web design, typography, and illustration.

20 x 2010: 20 Big Ideas for 2010 and Beyond

20 x 2010 is a unique forum for the exchange of cutting-edge ideas and trends in art and design, architecture, and technology. A total of 20 invited and juried practitioners will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation about the major concepts, movements, and changes impacting their discipline or field. The goal of 20x2010 is to promote interdisciplinary exchange and foster dialogue beyond the event.
